Whether you are currently supporting a student with epilepsy at school or you want to ensure you are able to provide for them in the future, this course will help to improve your understanding of what is needed. 
The content is developed specifically for those working with children and young people with a confirmed diagnosis of epilepsy.
It does not replace the advice given by a qualified medical practitioner and if in doubt, guidance should be sought.

This course provides valuable information about how primary, secondary or special schools can support pupils with epilepsy. It is suitable for all school staff as part of their CPD.

There are two components:

1) An interactive course

2) A graded assessment

Epilepsy and higher education

This is an introduction to epilepsy and how it can impact students in higher education. It is suitable for staff at both universities and colleges.

There are two components:

1) An online course for you to work through.

2) A final graded assessment.
